The expression
„Muscle Car“ came out only in the seventies. Before,
these cars were called "Super Cars“. There is no clear
definition for muscle cars. Fans agree: a „Muscle Car“ is
fast, strong and dirt cheap. Ford Mustang carried this
image like no other. The first models cost only a
2.368$. For this low price they gladly did without
complicated techniques. Driving pleasure was much more
important – usage, exhaust limits or trunk size were not
